    Are .in domains a thing of the past???

    No, I don't think they are. From what I'm seeing, though, in.'s are still going strong. Maybe most of the buyers just don't like the domain names or something. I'm not quite sure.

    Hmm, it seems to be what you're really after. Jeff suggested the .in domain, but this site here says that .asia is the best domain name: ICANN approves '.asia' as top-level domain - CNET News I'd listen to Jeff though; go with .in.

    For .IN, I found this basic site here Registration of .in India Domain Names ( .in Indian domains ) It seems you must register and buy them with your creditcards though. Good luck! :)

    I'm interested in making domain names, but how can I know which domains are already taken? I don't want to have my heart set on making a domain name only to find it's taken!
