Re: What
I think IP extension as an international issue could be a problem world wide without careful pre-planning I imagine.
The current IP system will only continue to function effectively for a short period given the current global internet growth.
Like Ceres said nice little post there - without implementation of these tips a startup site would almost always definitely fail or at least not reach dizzying heights.
The site itself looks good and could be quite useful although I wouldn't go as far as to saying that it will be the next biggest thing. Still a great find I reckon!
Hmm interesting read but the articles seems to be very biased in the favour of Indian entrepreneurs as opposed to the American ones.
But an interesting article all the same.
Well Good Day to you all.
My name is Petrelli and as you may have guessed from my username, I am a big fan of NBC's Heroes.
I have been looking into the .in business for a while now and hoping that this forum can help me a bit.
I would really suggesting renting a domain because a) in the long run you will be paying more for your domain but also you have no ownership rights so you could get a successful site and have your whole site ripped away from you.
He didnt do that well considering:
Estimate for one was $2.0mil-$2.5min and it only sold for an eight of that at $250,000, although the monetization thing is something I really wish that I could get into and could become successful in.
I would be suprised if India's economy improved judging by the current crunch of the US and GB economies. It looks like we are heading for international recession.
Nice design and good domain choice, I agree though that the domain VERB would be much better served to something related to the English language or English learning.
iPhones and android would be good ones.
Also other major technological advances such as computing parts, technological gadgets and software and consumer products like mobiles.
Take it, I would - Hotel Guru would be a great name for anybody looking into opening a site for reviewing indian hotels etc. - It will pay dividends for you.
Its not that expensive really a .co.uk domain is about $20 dollars whereas a .com domain can be picked up for $5 dollars. Generic domains will always be cheaper than country specific ones because of simple supply and demand.
Never going to happen - India is small fry compared to the rest of the world.
.In will be limited to just India whereas as most countries would be happy to use a non-geographically defined domain name.
I think a rule of thumb for with most online transactions is to leave 3 working days for them to process payment - after that email there support team or phone them.
I think obviously the .in domain will have some value but it will never have the value of .com or .net etc. as it has entered the game at too later point I feel.
