I have heard about the whois database for seeing who a name is taken by, but this does not solve the issue if the name is already taken. I would suggest that you decide on three or four different domain names and then check and if the first one is available then great if not you are not setting...

That is very good to know, since I have one domain with them as well. I think they need to go back to only having a handful as there is a big problem with this right now.

Are those amounts for real. I cannot believe that anyone would really pay those amounts for a .co.in domain name. Would they really pay this amount. it is a great list with some good names but I find it difficult to believe that people would really pay these amounts. That is a lot of money.
