The main problem with VPS is that they usually put too many of them at one machine. But I know of a good ones, too. But I couldn't say hostgator is one of them. They charge to much for too little.

Yeah its true, but the price adds up if a person have to pay for his own server ;) none the less for IPs... they are getting pretty expensive... usually $2 for an IP. And the thing is if someone want to check the .IN domains with just one IP it would take literally ages to check a bigger list...

I'm testing one US company right now. The difference is that not everybody has his/hers own server ;) and the thing is that it is better to have it per search... because not everybody want to do a search for a million domains and pay lets say $99 for it... someone maybe wants to do a search for...

It won't be free :P priced on per search bases. Pricing is not done yet. And I'm not crazy ;) you can get opterons with 8gb ram for less then $100. Its all about searching ;)

I checked the hosting... they are pretty expensive though, at least for the low-end machines.

Lol so you use multiple IPs... there is that surprise :D I was wondering how can you check 15k of domains in 3 hours, with one... :D Do you know any cheaper hosting/vps that offers multiple IPs?
