Who's familiar with this extension? I use the chrome browser and I stumbled upon it once. I love the fact that it is open-source and with it you can measure most of the things in the browser life gifs, images, videos, icons, texts and so on. I'm still learning the ropes but then this looks like something anyone can easily grasp.

I'm afraid that's something that I am not yet familiar with. I would like to learn more about it though, if you have any resources that you can point me toward.

I know a little about this browser extension, but I don't really get what it can do for me. What exactly does it measure the things for? I don't really get that part.

Did I once call .com's........net's......etc. extensions? All these terms get bangled up sometimes.

Anyway, it's for measuring pixels between elements. Why a person would want to do this is beyond me, but obviously people do.

I don't use the add-on, but Mioplanet's Pixel Ruler does much the same thing. As a stand-alone program it isn't part of the browser, so you can use it on anything and any application. It can be useful when you need to compare site layout between browsers and see if one is adding an extra gap.
