Unique Password Ideas

Is it possible to have a password that has nothing but characters? Like ************* for example? Who would guess that one, right? Or are websites coded to where that isn't possible?

I have never tried that. Why don't you try it and let us know. I'd love to have a password like that. Simple and easy to remember.

Don't most websites require more than one kind of character for registration? Every site I have ever registered on does.

You're right though, it would be easy to remember.

Such a password would be easy to remember but much easier to decode. I think the mix of characters, upper and lower case letters, still appeals to me. It might be hard to recall such a website but at the end of the day, it will be much safer.

I believe that it is easy to crack such a password. The issue normally is having a password that you can easily remember. Do you guys save all your passwords somewhere just in case you forget?

All of my passwords get saved in Google Chrome, which itself has a password at start, and asks for windows password in settings>passwords>show.

All these are copied in Keypass database, and all important unique ones are randomly generated.

Some temporary ones, just to check a site or app or like follows a pattern, example (not the one I really use) "So here is IF1" if I need to sign-up up at InForum.

Well, it does work. I had my doubts at first, but the registration did go through. I don't know how often I'll actually do something like that, but it's good to know it's an option.

Interesting. I think we should just all use one number for all our passwords so we don't have to remember much. For example, I could use the number '1' for everything. LOL> But unfortunately, by the time they get to you, your password will probably be 3,341,646,521 or something like that....:D

I'll always go for a mix of characters then use the 'remember password' feature on my PC. Is it safe to use the same complicated password for all your logins?

Its never a good odea to use same password for more than one account, coz if somebody gets it, they sure will try on other accounts, and thus will get in..

If anybody else except you gives you your password, it stops being a password and becomes more like an identification number. Password should always be a secret.
