Actually he made an offer few days before expire date. I waited till last date to renew it. i'm not sure but i guess he was expecting me to drop it
We started negotiation in January and finally sold it two days ago.

This was in the days when I would have expected low to mid $xxxx for quality .co.in having sold at least 50 for that figure that is no longer the case, they are currently generally crapped out.
And hindsight is a wonderful thing is it not?

There seems to be a temporary lull in the .in keyword domain market it looks like. Most published sales are between domainers and also focussed on short 3l or 4l . With tons of new investments in India and ecommerce activity, this should be temporary for .co.in and .in.
Owning .in and .co.in versions of the keyword makes sense to protect your brand in the long term. Typein for .co.in are still quite strong, in fact for same keywords, some of my .co.in have more typeins than .in .
Overall even .com keywords are down for the last 6 months to almost a year.
