Complete List of Indian Domain Name Sales

IT.com
Just a quick update about sales in 2015. Looking at this thread and the list I maintain at: http://domainmarket.in/sales/

There are 88 sales in 2015. At first impression, this doesn't look great by looking at the number of sales. But the devil, lies in the details. Before I list out the details, please note that I'm still verifying additional 35 sales that were done 2015. I hope to close those verification by the end of the month. So here is why I think 2015 was a good year based on the 88 sales we have:

  1. I have listed sales upward of 300 and excluded any sales 299 or lower. This is unlike previous years. And there are significant sales under 299 in the preceding years.
  2. The avg. sale price is low (~$1,800) , its because this year we did not have more than 5 figure sale. This contributes to lower average.
  3. The median sale price is much better compared to 2013/14
Here is a request to anyone seeing this thread, that if you had a sale over $300 in 2015 and its NOT listed on the link http://domainmarket.in/sales/ , please PM and we can include it on the site.

Closed the books for 2015 sales. Summary:

  1. There are 117 reported sales. Up by 30% from the previous year. Hoping this is better this year, although we have a slow start.
  2. The avg. sale price is low (~$1,800) , its because this year we did not have more than 5 figure sale. This contributes to lower average. However, the median is much better. What this means is that we have been consistently getting higher sales.
  3. There were lots of NNN sales. This is because Chinese domainers entered the space. There is a solid buyout of NNN, LLL and NNNN at the moment,.
Thank you to everyone who reported their private sales and providing me a way to verify the sales.

Good luck to everyone and hope for bigger & better 2016.

Sold one of my LLL.in properties for 5k. Didn't really want to sell it, but needed the money. Believe it will be used in a start-up soon related to video games. Can't share the name, but some of you can figure it out.
