Hi all

Can I have some appraisals for this domain

CloudComputing.co.in

Please appraise if you know what cloud computing is

Thanks

I have been an advocate of .co.in for many years and I like this name. And a few years ago I would have said upper $xxxx possibly in to low $xxxxx.

Today many good keyword .co.in are dropping, some being caught some being ignored.

Personally I have dropped over 30 in the last year and I don't see much of an upside unless ultra premium.

That said I would still hold out for lowish $xxxx.

Thanks for that, Ive owned the name for about 5 years and had some low offers on it but nothing worth selling for.

I guess I will just hold onto it for a while

The 1st keyword is strong, the 2nd is weak. And its a .co.in(like Wot already correctly analyzed).

mid $xxx is realistic. high $xxx is good.

Thanks for the comment...the word combination is not weak though as its a relevant phrase like "car parts" or "criminal lawyer"

Have a look at the exact searches and google results...

The question is who would want to acquire it and what they perceive the value to be (beauty is in the eyes of the beholder) 8) - Dell owns the dot com - more importantly see where this domain specifically takes you.......content wise........there you go!......look for such a potential buyer .....if you do your homework right you might get what you think you deserve!

PS: Like in stocks "Trend is your Friend" , so the interest in Cloud related topics may just last a few more quarters till something else comes along....so make your move quickly is my point.

Sorry but you can't compare your keywords in this case to the 2 examples you have given. Computing is a verb actually and verbs in domains aren't the best. Cloud+ a noun is the best...like some of the names in your Sig. I still stand by my appraisal :D

no problem LLL.in King, we might have to agree to disagree as I think I could get mid x,xxx for the name, not sure how long I will have to wait though, I havent really tried actively selling it though, I have had various offers over the years but nothing worth selling for so I know the keywords work. Microsoft also bough Cloud-Computing.de for $38,000 so its not startups that see the value in these phrase

I mean even the CloudComputing.in sold for $5,000 so I see it having some value

Other similar sales with "Cloud Computing" or just "Computing" below to give you an idea, I have been selling cloud names for the last 8 years and have had some nice sales in this niche so I do understand the cloud market. I will admit I dont have a lot of experience with the .in/.co.in market though so thats why I am asking the for some advice here, I do value all your opinions and appreciate the feedback

MobileComputing.com $16,000
CloudComputing.com.au $8,000
CloudComputing.in $5,000
CloudComputing.info $3,500
cloud-computing.com $5,148
HyperComputing.com $2,888
Cloud-Computing.de $38,000

There are many other "Computing" sales if you check Nambio etc

Thanks again guys

to OP,

Yes you are right, the other domains with cloud or computing words sell at good price...... but in their case, buyers came to the seller..... then the prices have gone up...

In your case, you are looking to sell, so why is needy, you?

So you deserve the lowest value until any end user comes.

Thats not true, you cant assume things, 3 of those sales, 2 of the largest ones were domainers actively emailing end-users as I know the sellers very well

Im not "needy" by the way, had some very nice cloud sales in the last 2 years so desperate to sell, just asking for advice

You have surely made a good case to buttress your argument, so i accept your point. The only main issue here is that .co.in....which you correctly stated might make you have to wait a while to get a good price. But talk to Wot, he knows how to sell .co.ins for miracle prices!! lol.

Thanks LLL.in King, appreciate everything you have said. I am happy to sit on it for a while and see what happens..

So Wot, are you going to broker the name for me? :p
