Partly. As in other western countries a credit score means a credit worth of the person and for Banks and other lenders, renters etc to give loan based on credit rating.
It's a Big business in US and India is moving towards this system. That's what Infosys Ex Chief started doing.. Unique code for everyone. Once this is done, anyone can track others worth.
Open to others to write on this ...
