Thinking about leaving Mitsu...

IT.com
I am a mostly satisfied user of Mitsu. Never has a serious problem with them. I started loading up on domains Mar 1 last year when their special price offer began. It's time for renewal. Which means $$$$$$$$. Will Mitsu run a special discount program for all those people who started accumulating domains last Mar 1?

I will say in defense of MITSU that they have fantastic support, which I value very highly. If they do indeed update their interface and keep their renewal fees competitive, I'll have no problem staying with them.

THANKS TO MITSU.

My problem has been solved due to personal and quick action by Goyalji.
I am thankful to him for geting my problem solved.

As you all already know my control panel was suspended because I had regisrered a domain name which was blacklisted by Govt of India and I was not aware of it.

I was just wondering whether there is a site or method by which we can come to know about such blacklisted domain names so that we can take necessary precautions when regestering them or avoid them.

Can anyone suggest another registrar that accept .co.in. .net.in and .org.in intransfers?

I've been on the internet since 1996 and registering domains since 1998. In that time, I have never, ever encountered a registrar (and I've used all of them in their various incarnations) that was more difficult or less intuitive to use than Mitsu.

My advice is to stay with Mitsu. All registrars have control panels that are a little quirky and take some time to get used to.

I can tell you from my experience, Mitsu is excellent. Their customer service is quick, friendly, and they have always gone out of their way to help me.

I don't believe you will find a better registrar than Mitsu.

It's impossible to pull up a list of your names by just "clicking a button". You have to go through a bizarre "search process" that basically requires instructions from tech support.

I still have yet to figure out renewal costs or how to add time.

Truly, genuinely, the most awful user experience of any registrar I've ever dealt with. This is a classic example of a site designed by computer-geeks who didn't bother to perform any ease-of-use testing with consumers. The site is completely impossible to use.

Anyway, looking for suggestions. We have three accounts with them that will need to be moved.
I use onlinenic.com for .co.in,.org.in etc and domainsite.com for .in.They are good.

I'm actually OK with MITSU at this point. They now have a function where one can see all their names at once and I've kinda-sorta gotten the basic gist of their system.

I do maintain that their system is a barrier to new participants, but at this time, I'm good with it... Now, lets see that $6 renewal they've been talking about ;)

We are trying our best to improve more and in constant touch with registry to get you the renewal promo probably from OCT-NOV.

Rest assured we will be the first registrar who will announce this on forum.

Just my two cents...Thanks to Mitsu for nice promo pricing! Hoping you are not serious on promo ending this month :)

Yes all the .in registrars use the same back end software, so no point to change unless they offer cheaper renewal rates!
My concern is if one of these little registrars decides to do a runner...

To see all your domains just select view 100 or 500 per page - they will all show up this way. Then use the little arrows over the days to expiry, press the arrow and they are all sorted to soonest or latest.

There is also a bulk renewal feature but seems only up to 60 days in advance.

Mitsu, When do you think the renewal rate will go to a respectable 8-10 usd$. How can Indians afford to pay these prices? Do Indian national get cheaper rates?

There is no difference of pricing for Indian national , we are trying our best to get approx USD 6.5 pricing for permanent basis to all ? Let us see what they declare in OCT-NOV ?
