You are correct. Last year there were 71 reported sales, this year with 2.5 months to go, we have 73. Although its almost the same, one thing that stands out is that most of the sales happened post May/June. If the trend continues, we could see 10-20 more sales by the year end, which is really remarkable turnaround for a year that started off slowly.

Like many .in auctions on SEDO, this ended with only one bid, hopefully the buyer pays.

To be honest, most Sedo auctions end with only one bid nowadays.

Don't forget they are simply post negotiations where seller hopes that more than one buyer is interested and can get more money and subsequently sends the name to auction.

The other auctions are the $99, Great Domains or special auctions. Most of which are failing miserably at the moment. Two recent ones .jetz and a Russian IDN extension had zero bids to the best of my knowledge?

Currently probably no more than around 40 sent to auction names,and yes,generally 1 bid.

Absolutely. What I mean is that all extensions, not just .IN, rarely seem to get more than 1 bid on Sedo, as opposed to a few years ago, when auctions were more likely to end with a higher price. So it's not just a .IN problem.

Lets hope it attracts a few more bidders as that is too low for a LLL.in of that quality in my opinion - good acronym combination of letters and could also act as the hack 'again'. Might have got more than 250 (minus sedo fees) on the forums..

just keep a watch on all your numeric domains specially ending with 66 or 88 or 44. they are always in high demand in china, specailly when b2b is at high b/w both countries.

Nice sale! Congrats! That's a nice triple premium LLL.in domain though... I think we should be able to get these up around $3000 to $5000... will be hanging onto mine for a few years I think.
