Hi all,

Correct me if I am wrong! but according to the stats on Rick Latona's ccTLD forum ccTLDs.com - Powered by vBulletin, the .CO.IN & .IN ccTLD's are the most talked about ccTLD's in the forum with 74 threads & 302 posts (at the time of writing this) followed by Spain .ES with 50 threads & 267 posts.

So is there a very strong interest in this ccTLD??? Well it sure as heck looks that way to me!

My question is then, why does there not appear to be anything relating to the Indian ccTLD at Ricks up coming Traffic ccTLD Conference in Amsterdam next month. Read the schedule here T.R.A.F.F.I.C. - Amsterdam Schedule

May be I am missing something looking at the schedule but it does not look like there is anything being discussed about .CO.IN or .IN at all!! Whats up with that??

Please tell my I am wrong and I need a new pair of glasses or something, because if this is true then they are leaving out one of THE most important ccTLD's that should be discussed.

Love to hear everyones thoughts.

Regards

hi ed,
my guess is that they are having a monumental time at the workshop/conference!
only indian activity is a guided walk down to west india house!

yes i guess .mx is being discussed at depth since it is a babe:p

also inregistry representation might not be there.(rick forgot to invite them?)or are they sleeper representations<..>

anyways the guys going there are having a nice time i guess( is Jeff going ?:),wait till sunday?<..>)

Yes, time will tell! I hope it is just a case of the schedule not being final!

It would be a big mistake not to cover this name space IMHO.

I am just very glad that our main man Jeff will be there representing all of us.

Go Jeff!

It's a good question. I've just emailed Rick about this with a link to the thread.

There will be .in names in the auction. We have yet to get in contact with anyone at the central registry. If someone has a contact there, I would certainly appreciate it.

The post from yesterday was about the registries that had agreed to come. Just because .in wasn't mentioned, doesn't mean that we don't care about .in names.

I'd also like to add that if anyone from this forum will be at the show and would like to be on a panel to talk about .in names, we'd be happy to give them that shot.

I know Jeff has a ticket but he was not sure of his schedule. He would fit the bill!

Jeff will be a speaker at the TRAFFIC ccTLDs conference in Amsterdam. He will be discussing .IN of course. ;)

I know Ed aka OzDomainer will also be attending the conference.

Are there any other INForum members planning to attend the conference?
