Whiz.in has been down for at least 4 hours on my end.

Anyone able to access the site or know what's going on?

Unless TK fronts up soon I think its safe to assume something has happened to Whiz.in and we will not be able to access domains via their site.

I have contact Directi (I believe Whiz is a reseller for them?) to ask them what they can do - has anyone else contacted them and recieved a response?

Hmm..Im not sure if Directi (Orderbox) went down..must be a problem with Whiz.in..cos I have been using my Reseller Account with them since morning with no issues as such..got a timeout 1-2 times..but thats it..

I've called the telephone number on the Whiz.in whois - there is no answer.

I've just submitted a support request with Directi - I'll see what happens.

Hi Jeff,

We have been answering support emails very promptly even more faster then mitsu or any other providers. Whiz.in is hosted on the robust resellerclub servers, if our site is down it will mostly be a global problem with all resellers.

We have been into business for more than 3.5 years and "trust" and quality of our service have always been the key diffentiators.

Just because the site was unaccessible for few hours does not mean that we are out of business. Please keep emailing us with your issues. We will be glad to assist.

As you must be aware Whiz.in has started offering Free DNS along with its domains like other resellers. We try to keep the lowest possible pricing to be competitive.

Thank you for your understanding

Regards
Tk

Hi tk,

I've edited my post.

In all fairness, your site was down for 3 days. There was no communication with clients about this. The telephone number listed in your whois was never answered nor did it have voicemail. I contacted Directi and they had no idea what was going on.

I acknowledge that this has happened to several major registrars lately and I'm sure it sucks that it happened to you. I can truly sympathise with that. Still, you've got to admit it's pretty worrisome for your clients when it happens.

You have always given good service in the past, and I understand you're now dealing with my email inquiry - thanks.

To clarify, the site was down for few hours not 3 days, i have records of other users registering domains. Resellerclub was implementing the Free DNS for resellers, and it seems like they were doing in batches so not all sites were down at same time.

As for the phone support we have stopped it some time back.

What concerns me is the fact that resellerclub said they had no idea. I am going to raise this issue with their support staff.

Thanks
Tk

TK - Whiz.in was unavailable for at least 3 days. You can see reports of this issue on this forum and Namepros back to the 4th April. Personally, not being able to access my account caused me a lot of inconvenience.

If maintainence is happening on the site then there should be a message saying this however there was only an error page.

I believe you are convinced it was only 3hours but it wasn't. I have always found that Whiz offers a great service and will continue my support...but we're not all imagining this.
