$2K is a good price for the domain today. but as you mentioned that it is worth more, I feel that as ball park 2.5K to 3.0K would be nice. Few points about waiting 3-4 years:
(i) You would an need to find an end-user after 3-4 years willing to give $2.0K + DELTA. This "DELTA" is your expectation.
(ii) If you sell after 3-4 years to a reseller, ~2.5K is the appropriate price.

Really great name. Don't be afraid to counter offer with a price you are comfortable with. Or develop it yourself!
