I think it all starts at home; children learn from and imitate their parents.
Religion also plays some part in it. In some religions, "religious" and "not-so-religious" members do not tolerate each other, even though they are of the same religion.

I agree. The community that you are part of has a big effect on how you are going to treat anyone you don?t know. Some people are just too arrogant that they think that they are better than anyone else.
well, yes. but then in my own point of view, it really starts from religion and how you see the people around you. and of course some race can not really accept other races because they were taught about it?
It's terrible that many people just "see" the colour of your skin. Do you think it's a coincidence that there are phrases like "black sheep of the family" and "pure white?"
I honestly think the racism is an illness. It amazes me that people still suffer from this in this day and time. We are all people with different needs but are still connected, because we are all part of the human race.
