.co.in market picking up steam

I sold CXO.co.in a month ago for $1000 on SEDO (frankly that was the initial offer, could have gone higher) and just now there is an auction for OnlineLottery.co.in current bid 2750 Euros (4 days left).

By the way LotteryOnline.com sold for $13.5K in 2016, so if the current sale holds, its already at 20-25% of .com price (LotteryOnline or OnlineLottery should be about equal)

These are good signs for .co.in domain names. 2750 Euro for 2 word domain is excellent, imagine what Lottery.co.in could go for.

There are many factors that go into a sale price:
- Availability of alternates (in this case .in is not for sale)
- How valuable the keyword or domain is
- Market size of the product or service offered
- Competitors in the market

Looking good folks, if you have been a believer in .IN, .CO.IN or both, this is good to see..

@Aubits I believe the title of your post is true. And credit to you for mentioning it! I was thinking a similar thing, so seeing this thread was perfect! On a personal note, i feel .co.in has also decided not to be as quiet as before. LLL.co.ins and strong one word .co.ins are at good risk of "catching on fire" aka having market action. I still see some .co.ins that are being sold for veery cheap. .co.in might be a few years from really taking off, but time flies so that time will be here soon. Hold tight everyone and negotiate harder(IMO succesful domaining usually = buying the right names AND selling for good prices/using good negotiation skills to get max price possible as frequently as possible).

Tell Sedo, they don't seem to know. ;)
And actually, since we are on the topic as ^^^^^, i might add now that you have also done very well in the domain biz because you have very good negotiation skills. Good negotiation skills in domaining is prolly 40-60% of the game IMO.If i had your negotiation skills i'd have made considerably more than i have made tbh.But cheers to you Wot!, I am happy you're still hanging around the threads on INF! Are you still invested in .co.in or/and .in? GL

Tend to think more in the right place at the right time. I've made a lot of money from .co.in/.in. Made money from IDN, even Chinese character. Even made money from ngtld.
By made money I mean profits.
Still have quite a few .co./.in but culled many across the whole of my portfolio apart from .cn and recently added a few Egyptian Hieroglyphics which I think may also turn a profit-maybe! :)
