Here are 6 different concepts for a new INForum logo - vote (anonymously) for the one you like best and let me know your thoughts on them. They are just concepts at this point, so can be modified or even completely re-done so if you want them changed in any way - let me know too.

Didn't like any. I'm not seeing a meaning to any of them. They're just like random shapes. (except for #6 which sorta looks like an elephant head sideways?). The current logo is way better ( with a little color change and taking out that grey background, should look good I think)

The new logos look ok but I see similar problem as we have now. All the examples have white backgrounds and when you place them on that orange bar it still won't harmonize too well (not as bad as grey + orange background, though). Ideally it would be to compose the new logo into that orange strip so it becomes part of it. However that would require to redo the color palettes or adding some delicate gradient as a bottom layer to keep that orange letters contrasted enough (or perhaps add shadows to the letters).

You can also try it with 100% height and remove the left outer margin so it wont be contained within orange or kick that orange belt altogether as it only waste space there.

I would remove it altogether including that 2 square boxes. "What's New" can be moved to the black strip and that "Forum" link is not useful at all.

The next step would be moving that search textbox to the right under "notifications, settings, logout". This way we will release the space for the new logo in the the top-left corner.

It would look similar to this:

Of course some tweaks still would be needed especially changing the logo background to that milky-gray color (I forgot to move "What's New" in the example).

Edit: If possible, you can export the logo to png with transparent background so that it won't be a problem in the future if some new color themes are added.

Thanks Kokoro! The image you provided is very helpful. I'll play around with it over the weekend, but I do think the design looks better in your image.

What I don't like in #1 is the symbol beside the text (not very meaningful), but I like #4 because its symbol depicts the indian flag.

It would look like this with #4

Also, I find that #4 would look even better if the lower text is rendered in green like this.

No one looks good and appealing ..... concept 3 is better but if you change the dots above the logo to Indian tri color then good.... Orange- White-Green.

Do you prefer the current one?

I like image #4 - The only thing I would change since a lot of users like the Indian Map would be to replace the arrow where the chakra should be to a map of India maybe? This way you have a map and flag of India... Great stuff though - May I ask if you used fiverr for this project or designed yourself?

I've done this. Ignoring the logo for now, how does it look?

It looks better however the old logo doesn't harmonize with the rest too well (it's probably that gray background). If the logo is to stay you could at least make all the 4 corners squared or rounded.

Some aligns here and there could be done but that after the final logo is in place.
