Where are you all from?

IT.com
Me, from holy city of Varanasi, India.

I was thinking that many of the people around here would be from India, but was surprised to find very few of them from India.

I was just drawn to the .IN thing and regged a few of my .IN domains. Since this is one of the best forums on .In, joining this forum was an obvious thing.

Greetings to the members.

:) Greetings domainwallah! Welcome to INForum.

I think the fact that there are no residency restrictions for Indian domains has really helped the .IN industry grow.

domainwallah, do you invest in other domain extensions?

Welcome domainwallah!

Varanasi is a place I am keen to visit. Heard many profound things about the holy city.

Cheers!

Yes, I agree with what you say.

Not yet started. But thinking of about it. In fact I am just starting in this domain thingy and .IN was the obvious choice for me given the potential of growth of Internet in India and the huge promotions currently going on .IN at present.

The list of my .IN is in my signatures. Would be happy for you to have a look and offer any comments about their profitability.

Thanks :)
HappyHour is often used here to offer cheap drinks etc.
Don´t know why I used it as nick. I always try to be creative

I'm from the UK but left 7 years ago in search of better things. Served a four year sentence in Australia (joking - I loved it) and now live in Thailand. Just bought my first Indian domain and am curious as to how the Internet will develop there overe the next few years.

Welcome Rajesh,

I hope it's been a rewarding journey for you! BTW, I left the UK 10 years ago.

Forrester forecasts that India will rank No. 3 in internet users by 2013.

I think the native place doesn't matter in any ways. The important thing is that what you gain by joining this forum and what information or knowledge one acquires and impart.
