Can anyone suggest another registrar that accept .co.in. .net.in and .org.in intransfers?

I've been on the internet since 1996 and registering domains since 1998. In that time, I have never, ever encountered a registrar (and I've used all of them in their various incarnations) that was more difficult or less intuitive to use than Mitsu.

It's impossible to pull up a list of your names by just "clicking a button". You have to go through a bizarre "search process" that basically requires instructions from tech support.

I still have yet to figure out renewal costs or how to add time.

Truly, genuinely, the most awful user experience of any registrar I've ever dealt with. This is a classic example of a site designed by computer-geeks who didn't bother to perform any ease-of-use testing with consumers. The site is completely impossible to use.

Anyway, looking for suggestions. We have three accounts with them that will need to be moved.
 
i totally understand what you mean about not being to see ALL your names on one page.i sent mitsu a PM on this forum about that issue, and i never got a response back. I like their .in renewal prices, but i might have some names that aren't parked properly and not seeing all the names prevents me from getting a good grasp on my names. I feel your pain! Hopefully mitsu can give some input and good luck!

We are knowing that all domains in panel cannot be seen at one go you will have to go through the number of steps to get your list of all domains, We want to clarify that we are in constant touch with software developer team to add this and some other features, Currently the software you are seeing on Mitsu control panel is developed by Logicboxes (Directi Branch) and similar problem you can see in all the Registrar who is using This Directi software including Resellerclub and their resellers. This same software is used by almost 20 .IN registrars and more then 100 ICANN accredited registrars and their resellers.

Logicboxes promised us to come out with new version some time around March, 2010 with lot of new features.

Every control panel have its own plus and minus points and regular updates are coming whenever we get feedback from you people. Hope you will understand our concern .

Hope DMAN you understand our concern and we request you to first contact us to get details of any problem you are facing.

WARBUX -- we always reply our customers concern very promptly but we donot think we miss your PM on this forum. Please email us on support we will reply your all concerns.

WE WELCOME ALL YOUR SUGGESTIONS IT HELP US TO IMPROVE.

We are ResellerClub resellers but use the same system.

Its actually the most functional of all the registrars, just need to get over the learning curve - I have accounts at 12 registrars, so am speaking from experience.

To renew a domain, you need to add the funds to your account before you execute the renewal order.

Renewal costs should be visible via the domain management page.

Just for the record, I have nothing to do w/ mitsu. Cheers!

Just want to update MWZD:

In our control panel you require to have Add Fund (Advance Fund) to your account only when you want to do Bulk Registration or Renewal otherwise you can go through the regular shopping cart and can make payment of the invoices directly through payment gateway. Cost of registration /renewal / transfer is visible at all stage of order.
 
There really shouldn't be a 'learning curve' required to accomplish a task that is dead simple, as evidence by any number of registrars that have no learning curve.

Further, the fact that I cannot see renewal costs until I've loaded my renwals into a cart is problematic in itself.

Really, I would suggest Mitsu look at Fabulous, Moniker or Godaddy for ideas. I would be willing to wager a substantial sum of money that if we were to poll 100 random users who have experience with other Registrars on their opinion of Mitsus user interface, 10 or less would have a positive view of it.

It's just so needlessly difficult to use. I shouldn't have to undergo any submission processes to see my domain names. That should be one simple button, that itemizes them all into a list. Click button, see ALL names, period. Renew names? Check box, renew names. That simple.

I have another year until my names are due for renewal, so I'll hold out hope that in this time, Mitsu will bring their site up to the standards expected by people who are accustomed to dealing with other, more user friendly registrars.

2) How are names renewed and particularly multiple renewals? If I want to renew my entire portfolio another year out, how is that done?
 
just search names with blank it lists all domains

when u click a domain for renewal it shows number of years.

In order to manage your domain names, you need to search for them from your Control Panel with Mitsu, and access their Order Details view. To do so, follow the simple steps mentioned below:

  1. [*]Login to your Control Panel:

    Resellers do so from Login Page.
    Customers do so from Login Page.
    [*]Once logged in to your Control Panel,

    Resellers, go to Products -> Search -> Domain Registration Search.
    Customers, go to Domains -> Domain Registration -> Search.

    [*]Search for the Domain Name Orders.
    IMPORTANT


    • [*]To list all Orders, leave all search parameters blank and select the Order Creation Date as All after selecting the Within radio button.
      [*]Resellers can search for all Orders belonging to their Sub-Resellers by selecting the Search Orders of Sub-Resellers check box.


    [*]In the next page, you would see a list of all domain names, with Domain Name Order bought through Mitsu. Click any of the domain names to reach its Order Details view, from where you can perform any modifications to the Order.

I like the fact that Mitsu is providing feedback here..that is important.

Not to pick on Mitsu, but have to agree with Dman, I found your site also very difficult to figure out and update URL forwarding for all my domains.

If it is a Logicbox design, definitely needs improvement.

Especially for domainers who own a bunch of them, we would like to get in
- find all domains in our account listed
- update nameservers or url forwarding (be able to check multiple domains)
 
Personally I like Mitsu. I prefer them among all .in registrars/resellers using LB. And as for me I don't think their website is so hard to understand. I would like to see few more usefull options though but overall experience is good (and their support is great).
 
SOMETHING WRONG WITH MITSU.IN?????

CASE 1, Registered few domains. DID NOT GET ANY EMAIL NOTIFICATION ABOUT REGISTRATION STATUS OR PAYMENT RECEIVED. Luckily name were registered in my account. So not a BIG issue.

CASE 2, Today again registered a few names, but could not login to my account. ( Used alternative registrant)

Asked for new Password. 4 hours passed and NO Email from mitsu.in


CASE 3, Unable to open the login page of mitsu ( http://www.mitsu.in/content.php?action=cp_login )


Mitsu dear please help. Can not even raise a help ticket.

Nothing is wrong with the Mitsu.

Please find reply of query :

1. When you register a domain you get email confirmation of registration of domain generated by our system. Sometime it may happen that you get emails as delayed delivery or may be delivered to spam folder beacuse of the almost same subject line in lot of registration email.
But you can any time take printout of whois record and moreover you have transaction history with us , After logging to our control panel just go to MY BILLING > List Transaction and click on particular transaction and take a print out or save copy for your reference. OR write to us we will send you the confirmation of registration etc.

2. Again the forget password emails are system generated and same goes to your email address of customer account and some time may take time to reach, but in case of emergency we always welcome your email but we didnot find any email to support or any other email id of us from you and even not a single PM is sent on this forum to us ? We have given phone numbers too to contact but no message from your side ?

Since you prefer to come to this forum with your problem instead of coming to us for solution. And with your screen name it is very difficult for us to get details of yours ?

3. Our login pages are working very fine at Register .IN and .Co.In Domains at Indian Domain Name Registrar - Mitsu.in- Accredited .IN Domain Registrar - India or at Login Page , you can check anytime. If we are down for maintainance for more then 10 minutes we surely put such information on our login pages ?

If you cannot raise support then at least you can raise an support email to us ?

Now another point of us: (For all In Forum Members)

We are very hurt since last few days as we found that (not this particular case -dear freeads or any other member-donot take it otherway) some of the registrars are not happy the way Mitsu is going ahead with business in .IN name space, and we found that they are trying to make issues (even false issues) and instead of writing to us for any support or sending us details about their registraions or disclosing their user id with us etc. they prefer to come to this forum just to bring down our reputation.

In most of the cases we didnot received any emails from the customer , customer should first contact us and if they think that we are not resolving their issues then they can come to forum where members can decide our actions.

1. We are very fast in support and even members of this forum can vouch for that.
2. When our custmer's important domains are expiring we call our customers no matters where they located.
3. We are always ready to support our customers by going out of our limits whether it is a matter of INDRP process or any other issue with .In registry.

We are always prefer to give importance to our customer and we donot find that any other registrar takes keen interest in the customers well being, they do just business.

Today almost 7000 customers and 100 resellers across the 142 countries trust in Mitsu because of our personalised services.

Even today we are the only registrar who is fighting with .IN registry for the cause of all .IN registrant and save your interest (we will detail you about the same very soon), As .IN registy is going the .CN and .INFO way where lot of spammers are registring domains due to cheap pricing promo and in this way you people will not gain from the domains in long run as if registry is getting bad reputation, and ultimatly such things are not good for .In registrant in long run.

Very soon we will post a very big article on that.


We belive that our customers are our strength and always stand with us, if you have any problem please write to us or send us PM or call us we will resolve any issue if you have before you come with your comments on this forum as this forum is not the registrars support area.

Thanks for your quick reply.

When I said something wrong with mitsu.in I meant it for the web site as I was experiencing problem of slow loading of page or no page opening. I had no intention of questioning the working of your organisation. I am a new customer of Mitsu and till date never had a problem with it.

I also had no intention of coming to the forum for that problem. It just so happened that I was reading the related thread and at the spur of the moment made that post. Now after reading your reply and the pain in your post made me realize that I should not have done this.

I request the moderator to delete my post from the thread.

Will contact you (Mitsu) if the problem persists.

For me:

Case 1: this has never happened to me @ mitsu,so thats quite odd.

case 2: I have always been able to log-in,especially when i have my correct ID and password. The only thing is that occasionally the mitsu site will be down for maintenance(i suspect)so you can't get to the site before even logging in,but this seems like another anomalous situation.

Case3: I can't remember having this problem.

Case 1 and 2 never happened with me. There was a delay when I was registering using BulkCheck out, but I always get emails. Have you checked your SPAM/Junk Email folder.
 
I have accounts with Enom, Name, Moniker, Godaddy, Realtime and with 10 other registrars.

For me Mitsu ( Logicboxes ) is better than enom, godaddy, name and few other.

I never faced much issues with them. Once in a while we all face few small issues with all registrars.. May be it happened to you.

Case 1 & 2 Never happened to me.. Case 3 i don't remember anything like that. But i can say sometimes it may happens due to maintenance or other tweaking activity in the servers.

NOW UPDATE ON FREEADS MATTER:

Today we got call from from freead and we updated about the issue to him and we want to inform you that he was not able to login becuase his panel was suspended due to some spam alert from Govt. of India's CERT (Computer Emergency Response Team), If he would have contacted us at first go then he will never face such problem of login failure.
