Google India's Site Clinic for Indian Webmasters

Indian webmasters can submit their website to the Google India Site Clinic and obtain advice from the Google team.

The aim of the clinic is to offer constructive advice about what improvements you can make to your site, and how it can achieve better visibility in Google's search results.

There are 2 main requirements: (1) your site must be registered on Google's Webmaster Tools; and (2) your site must meet Google's Quality Guidelines.

It's a smart idea by Google as many webmasters will end up needing to create a Google Webmaster Tools account!

You have until 20th January 2010 to submit your website. You can read more here.

Google offers more advice to Indian webmasters. It reminds webmasters to use the Alt attribute for images (as it is search engine friendly and also helps users who can't view the image).

The other tip is to use a sitemap on your website.
