Dont limit your search to Indian Directories.Try for DMOZ of any other directories.You can get better result.DMOZ takes more time for approval.But once you will get listed over there, it will help you a lot for your SEO purpose.

If it is going to submit to directories that actually review sites and do not allow every site to choose. Directories that allow each site more likely it is that will not provide much value because they operate as a link farm. Quality directories are targeted to leave, so there is more value in them. Try to get listed in DMOZ, which can be useful.
