In what's being called a people's choice award, the Indian public can vote for their favourite website(s) and rate the site's design, navigation and content. Voting takes place via WebsiteOfTheYear.co.in.

There are 17 categories and there will be two winners per category: Best Website of the Year and The Most Popular Website of the Year. Categories include dating, internet & telecom, news, sports, technology, travel and others.
