Default How Strong Are Your Passwords?

I just came across Microsoft's useful password checker. It allows you to test the strength of your passwords: Microsoft Password Checker

Is your password weak, medium, strong or best? I hope it's the 'best.'

If you passwords are not strong, find out how to create a strong password.

That's like going out, locking the door and leaving the key under the 'welcome' carpet

I use roboform to generate 9 character passwords. I've seen people use there home address as passwords, phone numbers, last 4 of social security number and the list goes on. People are afraid of forgetting passwords and in turn will sacrifice security.

Microsoft should have included a password generator like Roboform has to go with all of that information.

If databases are hacked like it happend before with phpBB and other social plattforms it doesn´t matter how strong your password is.
However, don´t use the same password and username everywhere and change your password often.

    @ above
I am totally in agreement with you.The brute force attacks are not performed on the sites to break password. They usually attack database.Which will give your password whether it is strong or not.
