Should our Indian websites be mobile-friendly?
In India, more people are accessing the internet via a mobile device than via a PC. Therefore, should we be thinking about creating mobile-friendly sites and, if so, how important is this?
I can see it being useful for sites relating to news, cinema, social networking, travel, eating out etc., but what about other types of sites?

I know mobile phones are must-haves in India. Does anyone use .mobi in India? If that's the case, [Indian word].mobi makes sense.

You don't have to use .mobi. You can just create a sub-domain, eg: m.cnn.com.
