Which method is best?
Which method do you thing is better if you wish to launch localized versions of a website according to nations. There are possibly three options namely:
1> assigning a country specific domain like asdf.in
2> providing a subdomain to existing domain like in.asdf.com
3> providing different root folder like asdf.com/in

Re: Which method is best?
I think that local domains make sense if that is where your market is. So, I'd go with asdf.in - assuming that you are truly trying to build a significant web presence in India and are including a lot of unique India related content. That's the real value of ccTLDs - they tell locals that this website is made specially for them.
Also, from an SEO point of view, Google tends to rank ccTLDs higher in the relevant country - for instance, Indian domains tend to rank higher in Google.co.in.

Re: Which method is best?
Thanks Jeff, this means we should prefer to go with ccTLDs as far as possible, But One aspect we might miss out is that we have to start a new domain if we choose do do so? So a lot lesser traffic initially ?
