Default Which is better?

I heard that most of the webmasters do not worry about alexa ranking. So is it worth to be proud if we have a good alexa rank? And if so what could be the good alexa rank. For my blog, i have the ranking of 4,65,369. Previously when i started, it was 45 lakh ranking. Do you think that its good or still bad...

No we don't worry about alexa ranks and still don't, merely because its seems as a visual gain not something really related to your site such as a PR rank. To be honest most of the webmasters I know focus more on search engines than alexa because really we don't gain or less anything from having a low or high alexa rank, its more just for looks.

Actually I don’t care about Alexa ranking now since I can raise it whenever I want. If you want to have a good Alexa ranking then all you have to do is to drive traffic to your site. These could easily done by buying those traffics.

Right now, I’m focusing more on increasing my Technorati rank, if my rank increases then the rest will follow.

Jeff pointed out some good points here. http://www.inforum.in/developing-par...-rankings.html
But remember Alexa rankings are not hundred percent accurate. They are tracked without any code being installed, so can be buggy.

I think alexa ranking is not relevant. One can easily improve alexa ranking by installing their toolbar. So, it has got no importance in my opinion.
