I think Mitsu is normally the cheapest:

For a renewal, they charge 589 Rs for .in and 319 Rs for .co.in.

Prices have been reduced.

.IN renewal = Rs569.0
.CO.IN renewal = Rs299.00

I am yet to find a registrar cheaper than mitsu

That's good news.

You can't get much cheaper than that. Wholesale for .in is Rs500 and for .co.in is Rs250.

also, you might across a lot of registrars/resellers offering .INs very cheap now..but do not get fooled by that..its only cos of the registry promotion..so make sure you check the normal/non-promo pricing as well..
