Three Ways To Be Wrong About Crypto-Tokens

I enjoy your posts about cryptocurrency and hope you keep them coming. It has been such a hot topic lately. There are several interesting ICOs that keep popping up and some that you just know aren't legit. I like to watch investFeed for information. The more a token is shilled, the more I...

Lessons from history - Pick Your Registrar Carefully

I appreciate a heads up of shenanigans, but if you're going to call somebody out, you should really name them. Come on. I you're afraid of being sued just throw in some "allegedly" and "supposedly" and "accused of" and you'll be fine. From the information I see here, there's no way to know...

    Copying and pasting

I've seen some pretty hilarious results from copy/paste rush jobs. The terms will mention drugs or guns, when the site is about child care, or it will discuss dating and photos, when the site is centered around pets. It's like the website owner realized they needed terms and conditions at the...

Google Just Made SSL Certificates A Must Have For Your Business Website

Thanks for sharing this information. As a customer, it's nice to see Google taking security seriously, but I also worry that users will think everything is hunky-dory and they are totally safe so no need to update the operating system or use difficult passwords. When we all know that's not...

    Videos on your website

Can't you just host the videos on YouTube and use their server power? Most sites I've come across use either YouTube or Vimeo to do the heavy lifting.

    Improving Keywords ranking

That makes a lot of sense. Thanks for taking the time to explain it out. I've been over thinking things as usual. One thing I've noticed is that lots of reviews seem to get you placed higher on the list.

Leasing domains and other ways of earning

If you're holding onto a domain you've been unable to sell, why not try leasing it out? Or, let someone else set up the site and you split the affiliate and add profits. I'm surprised more of the high dollar domains don't lease instead of sell or set up some other scheme since it seems they...

    How to prevent website hackers?

That is an amazing point! I think you're right. They really just don't care. Although, I think T-Mobile immediately jumped in to fix things and alert their customers, whereas, Experian's leaders chose to sell their stock and keep quiet. Both hacks occurred due to sloppiness though.

    Improving Keywords ranking

Does that work for you on mobile too? I've found that after ads, google maps, and google plus reviews, we're all pushed into no man's land. The whole first page is nothing but google owned material. I might add some tighter location keywords to see if that helps.

    How to prevent website hackers?

Let me state right away that I realize it's impossible to bulletproof your website from potential threats. But lately, hackers are getting in because the companies' website development failed to implement basic safety measures and correct the bugs that allowed the breach. The most recent...

    What to consider before investing

Has this actually happened in the wild or is it just meant as a "for example"? Digital currency is in the highly technical and mathematical realm which is inhabited by people that I expect to be savvy about https/SSL use, so yes, that would raise eyebrows. There's probably a white paper out...

    What to consider before investing

All investments are like gambling because you can lose the money you initially put in and there's no guarantee of a payoff. They just come in varying degrees of risks and rewards. These investments are also equally open to manipulation and crime as cryptocurrency. Whether it's bribery...

Which cryptocurrency will be the next BIG thing?

Bitcoin is obviously the gold standard and Ethereum seems to be ensconced in second place. What do you think will be the next big in digital currency to take off?

Free .in and .com lifetime registrations from Hostsoch.

Will the hosting fees go up each year? What happens if the hosting company goes under? Do you lose the domain? I've never heard of that hosting company, but I'm intrigued. Thanks for bringing it up!

Which hosting company are you using right now?

Thank you all for the feedback. I've checked reviews online, but it's hard to tell who is getting paid for their review and who is providing details about their genuine experience. I've also seen a lot of five star and one star ratings with no additional details provided whatsoever. I knew you...

    Overwhelming the reader

Longer articles are okay if they're broken up by topic headings and key points. Still, I think it's important to keep in mind that more and more users are looking at your site on a mobile phone. There's not much screen real estate to work with and hitting "next page" gets old as does endless...

    Mistakes?

One of my biggest mistakes was bidding on domains on ebay. I would win the auction, pay the tab through PayPal and think I was good to go. Shortly after the seller would refund my money and send a message that the domain had to be sold in a package deal, but that they didn't know that before...

Are domains for cryptocurrencies worth buying?

Can you find one that's available with .com, .org, or .net extension? I've played around with it and it seems most have been bought already. The sellers who own those domains seem to want top dollar, and more than they are worth in my opinion.

Which hosting company are you using right now?

I'm looking for a hosting company for a simple blog. I've noticed several popular bloggers recommend Bluehost, but I believe they might be making a commission off those sales. I've read reviews, but they seem to be from people who aren't actually using the hosting company, or they're outdated...

    The up-time score

I've never understood what goes into the score though. If a site is under a DDOS attack, is the host company responsible for fixing that and does it count into the percentage?
