I agree with you on that one, Overcast. Once you know that you're going to be in this business for a while, it's best to take the hosting plan that comes with the highest discount.
I hear you. I invested a lot of time into my websites, but when you think about the money that I saved first from doing the work myself and also from avoiding getting scammed like that, then it's totally worth it.
From your question I think the answer you're looking for is going to be beyond the scope of this thread. Your best bet will be to do some serious research on Google and I'm sure that you will find what you're looking for.
Which one is the best and most reliable platform for hiring freelancers if you want someone to tend to your site management and social media marketing needs?
For someone whose website traffic generation budget is little (to non-existent...) what would you suggest as a way of starting out if they want to generate about 10,000 visitors/month to their site?
Do you mean like dropshipping? I've heard this term used before, but I think it may be more about you selling a product that another company ships to your customers and essentially you don't handle any of the work concerned with the delivery. I guess it's a good place to start doing your research.
I've seen those around. Where you have like four monitors but one control and keyboard? They are easy to get these days. Just look through Amazon and I'm sure you'll find one that's affordable.
If you have some time on your hands to be able to set up and manage a website rather than parking your domain, I would suggest that you do that because it will bring you much more revenue.
I'm inclined to agree with Geordy. I, too am trading forex online and I have to admit in the beginning I was all about making a quick buck rather than creating a foundation for steadily growing my account and eventually earning an income from trading - and I blew my account in a week.
It would...
Isn't that work mostly done for you by the theme that you choose? Maybe I'm wrong, but that is something that I've never given much thought because I know my theme is responsive to all devices.
Buying something that is already built is always better than trying to start your own especially if you have no experience in the business. I think there are much easier and more profitable ways to make money than starting one's own hosting company.
I've been using Buffer, but that one you mentioned sounds so much better because it's automated. Anything that can save me a little more time in my work is very welcome and appreciated.
There are so many free services that you can use to determine just how fast your site is, and I don't have to tell you how important speed is in order to get good rankings and traffic. I use Pingdom.com
I know it's never a good idea to copy content from other sites, but what about site design? Say you see a lovely design for a site, is it alright to copy it and use it on your site?
I've only ever used Youtube. I guess from reading this article it's time to explore more options and possibly find a video sharing site that offers better service or more features. I'm not sure if the alternatives to Youtube will make much difference, though, but it's worth looking into.
Wow, Prasanna kumar you seem to know quite a lot about the subject. Do you have your very own niche sites that you manage? If not, I think you should consider it. Sounds like you would do really well.
The strangest thing I read was about 'legally stealing traffic from other websites for free'. This shocked me to the core, especially after a friend of mine demonstrated how to do this effectively.
I think that there are more effective ways of marketing your site even for complete noobs. Posting comments might work if you're leaving lengthy and obviously well thought out and informative, helpful comments - but that's a lot of work and for so little gain.
