Whoa, old domain names such as 989.com, 899.com or 399.com sold for $2.3 Million, which were registered for $100 each originally 20 years back. The .com domain name, is now glaring at its sunset. Now .in is taking the baton. With India with a thriving economy in e-commerce, IT and other electronics related businesses, .in became the cheaper and equally good alternative to the outrageously expensive .com keyword domains. Also .in is relatable to "internet" keyword, figures.
