There is this Chinese buyer on SEDO who has bought many NNN.INs and LLL.Ins. I suspect that the same buyer also bought 876. Good sale nonetheless.

Express.in SOLD for GBP 6,999 (~$10,918) ON SEDO in the last week.
igate.in sale was mentioned above also sold for GBP 750 (~$1,170) on SEDO

Seems that the new owner is Express Inc. (express.com), shop men's and women's clothing (I've already reported this info in another thread which is less visible )

Yup, love shopping at express, one of the few rare outlets that carried slim fit shirts in USA. I think Express will do pretty well in India.

OOO.IN SOLD for Euro 1,800 (~$2,006) on SEDO in the Last week.

This name was sold for $1,200 way back in 2008.

Also 876.in SOLD for $1,066 as reported earlier.

That means current seller didn't earn.
He bought it @ $1200 in 2008 (1200x48=57600 INR), sale price $2006 (2006x63=126378)

It means he earned 2.2x within 7 yr.
If the amount he put in bank, he may earn 2.5x.

The seller in NOT Indian, and not everywhere do you get very high interest rate

That's just 1 perspective out of many. Sometimes you take decent profit instead of optimal or maximum profit. At least it was sold for a deceñt profit!

Also the bank interest you mentioned is not reall better than this sale because to get that 2.5x u mentioned you have to 1ST put that money into the bank. This sale.just put $2000 into the seller's.pocket and the calculations show what amt of the total is profit. Surely a better situation to be in with the domain sale.than u only getting 2.5 ...maybe after putting ur capital into am Indian bank that can't maintain that interest for 7 Years straight as the the domain sale did.

Actually, good domain sales lead to ROIs that are umatched(i f legal and non fraudulent.).
