Thread: Google in Bangalore

Looks like Google is going to start creating street view on its maps of India - starting in the city of Bangalore. In addition to cars, they are also using a three wheeled pedicab:

Starting today, we are going to drive our Street View cars in Bangalore. Once the collection process is complete, Street View will be available in Bangalore on Google Maps, allowing users all around the world to access street-level imagery and virtually explore various streets in Bangalore. It will be as good as walking down the street from the comfort of your desktop or mobile device!

sounds exciting! what a way for bangalore to grab the limelight. look forward to seeing life on the streets in india

I'm looking forward to see this one out since I never been to India before. Seeing their streets seems like your there in that country.
