Default Verisign Increases Fees for .Com & .Net

Starting October 1, 2008, Verisign will be charging registrars more for .com and .net domains:
Indian Domain Name Blog » .Com and .Net Prices Are Increasing

Completely expected, unfortunately, just like the fee increase last October.

Renew your .com and .net domains in advance of this date. And, as fees will likely increase again next October, you may well want to renew more than one year in advance.

Interesting thing pointed out to me was that with the US dollar falling so much, for most non-Americans, the cost is getting cheaper, despite the price increase.
