Definitely. Mobile phone coverage fills in where the regular infrastructure does.

Apparently margins are very low and so the large number of consumers makes up for small profits on each one.

India will probably leap frog many of the phone tech that we now use. i.e. The tech that they use will be more like Japan's tech than our old G2/3 systems.
