Re: google wins back china licence
Google needs China, China does not need Google.
Baidu.com has already taken a large slice of what Google should have had if they had complied with China's requirements.
If China wants to place restrictions on internet access or content they are entitled to do so. There are requirements in place for companies to do business in China, those requirements should be respected.
Simply if companies do not like it they can stay out- but who can afford to?

Google Wins Renewal of Its China License
Again Google wins in another war

As yo know there was a lot of time that Google has problem with China's government. But today China's government confirmed that it renewed Google Inc.’s Internet license.
Why all countries and companies should reach to an agreement with Google?Last edited by Ceres; 07-13-2010 at 01:26 AM. Reason: Merged post with related thread.

Re: Google Wins Renewal of Its China License
Actually China won the war. Google decided to stop redirecting its search results in China because China threatened to end Google's license.
