Punjabi Set to be 4th Largest Spoken Language in Canada by 2011
It's being predicted that by the year 2011 Punjabi (one of India's 22 official languages) will be the 4th largest spoken language in Canada:
Punjabi is set to become the fourth largest spoken language in Canada by 2011 after English, French and Chinese, according to Canadian Immigration Minister Jason Kenney.You can read more via the link below:The 2006 census showed that Punjabi is the sixth largest spoken language after English, French, Chinese, Italian and German in Canada. But it is projected to surpass German and Italian by 2011.
