Bharti Q1 profit doubles-India Business-Business-The Times of India

Bharti Airtel Ltd., India's top mobile services firm, said on Thursday its quarterly net profit doubled, beating forecasts, as its user base surged in the world's fastest growing mobile market.
Its shares, which had climbed 10 per cent in the previous six sessions, fell 3 per cent as investors booked profits.
Indian wireless operators have added 73 million subscribers in the year to June, and analysts forecast the user base will top 500 million in five years,
