    Exclamation Elance.com Security Breach

Those of you who use Elance services, please note that hackers accessed a user data table that contained contact info (eg: name, email address, telephone, city location, and log-in info). Elance state that the incident did not involve the release of any financial data, social security or tax info.

Although passwords were protected with encryption, all Elance members are being asked to reset their passwords.

According to Elance, it has now fixed the security hole. It also states:

Is my information being made public on the Internet?
Some user information has been reported to be appearing on OutsourcingRoom.com. We are working with authorities to prevent their unauthorized use of this data.
There's more info about the security breach here.

Scary stuff. If Google Adsense or Adwords gets hacked one day, a lot of businesses could be hurt.

The domain name you mention (o...room) did seem to get the email addresses as I received 3 or 4 emails from different variations of that domain name asking to verify the account. I use Google apps email so, I promptly reported the emails as "phishing attempt".
