Default Ministry of Communications & Information Technology Promoting cc Domain Name

Ministry of Communications & Information Technology has an ad promoting .co.in .

I think they were trying to bring awareness to the Indian Country Code Domain Name

This has to be a positive step in the right direction. Greta news for .co.in! This is a good reason to invest not only in .in's, but also .co.in's. IMHO

There's a lot of push lately for .co.in vs. .in.

Interesting to see.

Agreed - I'm sure the introduction of .in has slowed down the growth of the Indian domain market. They would have been best just sticking with one major extension and pushing it hard.

Still - it means more good names for us to pick up
