Open Letter to Google : Why Have You Taken Away my Google & GMail Accounts?

I just read an article by Loren Baker of Search Engine Journal where he reports that his business just took a hit because, for some unknown reason, Google has disabled his Gmail account. Loren uses his Gmail account for his business communications and Adsense login etc. Now Loren's clients are receiving this message when they email him:

The above highlights the danger of using a free email service for your business.
