The Ajanta Group has introduced a demo electric car called Oreva.

We see electric cars also as future products for India and we are working on it. The research and development is going on. This car will go on battery and it will be a completely Indian made battery operated car,?.

He did not give out the price of its new car. It is expected that the car is likely to be sold at about Rs 85000. That will be some competition for Nano.

At the price of 85000, Oreva does seem promising. With the sleek design and the battery based fuel, I really am looking forward to Oreva and the likes of it.
