It's depressing how the oil-producing countries seem to be controlling the world in their hands. How's it going in India?

I guess it's bad everywhere, except where there is plenty of oil to burn.

While the rest of the world is tightening its belt, Dubai is expanding and building more and more buildings that are staggeringly expensive. Talk about life's ironies.

If you mean the man-made islands and the very tall skycrapes, then, I would agree that it is indeed ironic. Dubai is all about building, while Africa is all about fighting. I mean, not everywhere in Africa but many parts of it.

Hello, I heard there are more construction jobs in Dubai than anywhere else in the world! How prosperous that city is. And no taxes!

Kuwait is better in terms of benefits for its citizens. Imagine receiving dividends at the end of the year from the government!

Why can't all countries be like Kuwait or Dubai? Just wishful thinkin' here.
