    Question help with indian food

    hey guys,

    first of all,
please let me apologize for my ignorance.
also for any offense that I might cause by posting this thread

im an australian (white guy) so that kind of explains it all.

I need a little help with the regions of India regarding food for a 'home delivery' directory that i am setting up.

    so far I have:

    Bengali Food
    Goan Food
    Gujarati Food
    Kashmiri Food
    Marathi Food
    Northern Indian Food
    Parsi Food
    Punjabi Food
    Rajasthani Food
    Southern Indian Food

also would it be offensive if I included the following?
    Bangladeshi Food
    Sri Lankan Food
    Nepalese Food
    Pakistani Food

I know the 4 just above do not really have a direct relation to indian food but many Indian restaurants in Sydney are own by Bangladeshi people.

any help would be great, and improve my local knowledge of India.

I do have another really dumb but important question none the less.
I do know that Islam has a preference to the color green as it means 'peace'

Also I'm wondering if i am correct in using a 'orange' color scheme for promoting Indian cuisine?

    thanks in advance
apologies for ANY offense that my ignorance may have caused

Except following two terms everything is OK :

    Northern Indian Food
    Southern Indian Food

    Correct term is :

    North Indian Food
    South Indian Food

In Rajasthani main special Food IS Churama-Baati. Roti of corn&wheat flour is also one of the regular food,

In villages special events they make laddu, Chakki, Jalebi, Maalapa, Halawa, Laapi(The wheat flour is used which's size is Large, preparation mathod is almost same to halawa) Etc.

RABARI is cheap and healthy food,
Villagers prepair it by Heating FAT rich chaach(butter milk), Big size corn wheat Particals for Half hour, Then drink and eat with Cumin spice(Jeera in Hindi)+salt.

    In Traditional dairy products-
    Kheer
    Khoa(Mava)
    Paneer
    Rasogulla
    Gulab jamun
    Dahi
    Lassi
    Barif
    Rabadi(sweet)

To Know more about any product ask me,
    I am Dairy technologist .

Thanks, Will definitely keep my eyes open for it...in sydney not much choice (you really have to look)

I would be simply interested in sitting down and listening about your chosen field,
the genetic evolution of livestock for yield / compared to natural selection,
regional data due to environmental conditions.
improvements / side effects of introduced elements for enhancement (the scary stuff)
    so on and so forth.

    thanks again.
