Personally, I love to have LLL.in with and I in them.

CBI.in is great. 10 million in Google results

I tend to agree ( and hold ) LLL.in with the letter 'I" but have noted that many other combiations are actually the ones that already make me a solid return parked at Domainsponsor.

CBI is a very known acronym in India for Criminal Bureau of Investigation. You might get some traffic on that name I think.

i agree with your 2nd sentence there. Cbi.in very likely gets type-in traffic. I'll put Cbi.in at mid $xxx and yps.in at low $xx

the CPC is probably better than that for most indian traffic i bet
