Sorry for asking the question. But i want to know what is a LLL.tld domain? Why is special importance given to lll alone. Initially i thought that it was just a 3 letter domain representation. Is it so?

Yes, LLL is just a domain with three letters in it.
TLD means top level domain = .com, .net, .org, etc.
