Thread: Trademarking .in's Cost

Is there anyone here who has trademarked their .in's ? If so how long does the process take ? Also what is the cost for the whole process.

just put a TM mark beside your .in. Make sure you have original usage and contents and it's yours. Such INFORUM.inâ„¢

if the domain name is your company name then no need for TM, if not then register for TM

Cost varies depending on the person.

The actual charge of TMs is only Rs 3000 - 4000, but these agents take a commission.

If your trademark information are valid then it take normal price and time for registration. Otherwise it take some time for verification process.

The cost for trademark is the same under all cases. It basically depends on whether someone opposes your mark.

The trademark office for entire south India is chennai and from what I understand, the trademark registrar of chennai is arrested on bribery charges and it will take sometime for things to speedup.

However you can register your mark and give it a year for processing.
