INDRP Respondent Ordered To Pay Costs
Sandvik Intellectual Property AB (part of the Sandvik Group) has been awarded the domain Sandvik.in in a recent INDRP decision. IMHO, the outcome was predictable. The INDRP decision can be viewed here (it's a clear decision and not vague like some other decisions!).
The complainant was also awarded costs in the amount of of Rs. 10,000 (approx. $220). This is not the first time an Arbitrator has ordered a respondent to pay a costs award.
I suspect Allianz.co.in and Sandvik.in won't be the last domains this respondent loses because I came across another trademarked domain they own...
