Thread: Repeat Cybersquatter Loses Another UDRP Case

I came across a UDRP case in which the complainant, Balenciaga S.A., won the disputed domain BalenciagaHandbags.com from the respondent who is based in India. Balenciaga has trademarks worldwide for BALENCIAGA (the mark covers products such as handbags).

The respondent is no stranger to UDRP cases. To date, none of his cases have been defended…well with domains like celebrex.org, pfizer.org, valiumeffort.com and xenial.org, it comes as no surprise…

This pattern of registering domain names in bad faith will make it that much harder for the respondent to win UDRP cases in the future. Although lately I've been wondering whether or not such respondents really care about this point.

It's not worth defending cases like those... the guy should just turn those domains over to the plaintiff voluntarily instead of letting them go undefended.
