Indian Generic Domains Being Hijacked

Thanks to a2zofb2b over at NamePros and other forums, we have warning of a potential threat to people holding valuable generic Indian domain names.

NamePros.Com - Are you in Danger of losing your Generic .IN Domains?

In the JOBS.IN Case the Complainant (Jagdish Purohit of Indiapress.org) Claims that he holds Trademark for ?Jobs? and has applied for Service mark due to his usage of subdomain name Jobs.in.Indiapress.org

In the HOTELS.IN Case the complainant (DirectI Parent company of Skenzo.com the Paid Parking program) claims Hotels.in has been monitorzing using parked program and that they have right to the name because they have HOTEL.IN.DirectI.com subdomain and Hotel.IN
Its like the pot calling the kettle black and winning the case.

Most are genuine, but I do not agree with the resolution of generic domain names.

internet.in was the worst case i have ever seen.how can people claim trademarks on such a generic domain.
